The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering specialized care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients, managing complex cases, and providing critical care in a fast-paced environment.

Job specification

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall condition, identifying and responding to changes in their status promptly.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in unit-based training, simulation exercises, and continuing education courses to enhance skills and knowledge.

Candidate requirements

• BSN, ADN, or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) are preferred.
• Certification in Cardiac Surgery Nursing (CSC) is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in critical care or cardiac care, with specific experience in a CSICU or similar setting preferred.
