Local Truck Driver
Company - Capital Reyes Distributing
- Shift : Monday - Friday, weekends & holidays off
- Pay : Starting rate of $65,000 during training. After training (30-90 days), annual salary will range from $72,000 to $100,000 (dependent on route)
- Routes : Home daily with local routes

- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must have at least 1 year of recent CDL Class A driving experience

The compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.
Position Summary :
Responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to :
- Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle
- Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and / or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and / or hand truck
- Maneuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles
- Unload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments
- Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel
- Complete delivery and pick up paperwork
- Pick up returned product as required
- Collect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.
- Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
- Complete company training and certifications as required
- Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and / or co-workers
- Other projects or duties as assigned
