The Data Science / Modeling team holds the secret sauce of DataVisor. We run our advanced core unsupervised analytics engine and machine learning models on hundreds of billions of events from hundreds of millions of users.

We are a mix of big data software engineers and inquisitive data scientists. We love finding beautiful patterns in data to catch and prevent malicious attacks against normal good users.

We’re also not afraid to get our hands dirty; we get deep satisfaction coming up with and implementing new ideas for improvements to our detection engine.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PhD degree preferred) in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or relevant engineering fields.
  • 2+ years of work or research experience in data science and machine learning. Proficiency in object-oriented programming language, e.

g. Python / Java / C++.

Self-driven individual and proactive self-starter. Strong data analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Plus / Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiar with common data structures and algorithms. Be able to write efficient and optimized computer programs.
  • Proficiency in query languages such as SQL.
  • Experience in big data, such as Hadoop / MapReduce / Spark.
  • Experience in financial crimes and fraud analysis in a financial institution or payment solution firm.
