  • Schedule : Varied shifts; Monday-Friday (8-10-hour days), night call (6 PM - 6 AM), weekend call (Friday 6 PM - Monday 6 AM); rounding on weekends
  • Patient Population : Adult
  • Location : Atlantic City, NJ
  • Stipends : Lodging may be available for the right candidate

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Rounding on ICU and floor patients
  • Coordination of patient care
  • Assisting in cardiac surgery
  • Diagnosing and treating patient illnesses
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
  • Writing prescriptions
  • Removing sutures

    • Qualifications

  • NCCPA Certification (required)
  • New Jersey License (required)
  • Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) (required)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience, including proficiency in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) and first assisting (required)
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR (preferred)

    • Working Hours

  • Weekdays : 8-10-hour shifts
  • Night Call : 6 PM - 6 AM
  • Weekend Coverage : Friday 6 PM - Monday 6 AM

    • Skills

  • Proficient in endoscopic retrieval and chest tube insertions
  • First assist capabilities in cardiac surgery
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
