Sarnova is the leading national specialty distributor of health care products in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Respiratory Markets and is the industry leader in Revenue Cycle Management within Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

Responsibilities

Hybrid Work from Home Schedule - Mondays & Fridays work from your home office, Tuesday - Thursday join our team at our Corporate office in Dublin, Ohio.

Summary :

The Curaplex Product Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full product lifecycle for the private brands Curaplex business through key marketing and communication strategies that support revenue growth and business objectives for Sarnova's Acute business units.

This position requires strong organizational and analytic skills, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Marketing Strategy : Develop, present and implement portfolio business plans for specific and multiple product lines including management of pricing, supplier relationships, go-to-market strategies, and product positioning.

Create, execute and manage Sarnova marketing programs and materials to include company catalogs, online initiatives, advertising, sales force support materials, trade show marketing efforts, and supplier marketing programs.

Brand Management : Utilize sales data, market data, pricing strategies, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and markets to support the expansion of new products and channels that drive new revenue streams and build brand equity.

Direct and develop all tactics and activities that support brand development and growth.

Communication : Develop and manage messaging strategies for new products and channels. Drive messaging integration by collaborating with Marketing and Sales to instill a passion for product.

Establish and own the relationship with product manufacturer.

Development : Enhance existing marketing processes and develop new tools and programs to accelerate profitable revenue of the Curaplex business.

Complete special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.

  • New Products : Facilitate and collaborate with cross functional teams in the preparation for commercialization and launch of new product lines.
  • Manage the development and distribution of collateral materials.
  • Training : Lead clinical training programs and product training.
  • External relationship management : Manage external relationships with suppliers of private label products to ensure supply, effective costs, positioning, as well as identify new product opportunities.

Act as a liason throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Category Management : Work closely with the branded category team to identify cost out, sku management across a portfolio, and new product ideation projects.
  • Provide support for various departmental projects as directed by Senior Product Manager - Curaplex Acute

Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field. MBA or a technical degree with clinical background is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years' strategic marketing and product management experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.

Clinical experience is a plus.

Experience in a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business selling environment, or the health care products industry desired.

Skills / Experience Required :

  • Both Upstream and Downstream Product Lifecycle Management to include :
  • Demonstrated experience with product / category management, positioning, customer segmentation, pricing and communication strategies.
  • Solid communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, influence and communicate at all levels.
  • Understanding of new product launch processes, product extensions coupled with an innovative, entrepreneurial mind set.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a detail orientation. The ability to lead project teams and influence functions outside of the marketing team.
  • Experience with negotiating, tracking, and managing vendor contracts and suppliers.
  • Influence across commercial teams to drive positioning and performance and growth in your product lines.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to plan and forecast on a national level and by product category.
  • Advance planning capabilities including data analytic skills.
  • Experience working with and directing creative strategies and tactics.
  • Strong people leadership experience.
  • Computer literacy : Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Intermediate level of Excel and PowerPoint.
