Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

The DuPont Clinic is a referral center for all-trimester abortion and ultrasound-guided procedures,including for abnormal or high risk pregnancies, and for people with complex medical situations who may have difficulty accessing care.We provide the highest level of medical care and a private experience focused on the individual needs of each patient. We seek a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide procedural sedation. The CRNA willbe an integral part of the team ensuring patient safety and creating the patient experience. This position will be paid hourly for one to three days per week with shifts of approximately 6-8 hours. The right CRNA for this position will have the highest standards for patient safety, be motivated to create a positive patient experience, and strongly support a person's right to control their own body.

Duties :

• Providing analgesia and anesthesia for procedures, primarily with moderate and deep sedation
• Maintaining the highest level of patient-centered care
• Evaluating patients prior to anesthesia
• Performing appropriate monitoring throughout procedures
• Participating and assisting in team emergency drills, trainings, and meetings
• Performing routine checks on equipment, medications, and other supplies, and alerting staff, as needed
• Communicating effectively with all members of patient-care team
