Job Description
DigitalCM is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will primarily provide administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) while also assisting with general office tasks.
An accounting background is preferred, as there will be opportunities to support financial activities and interact with accounting systems.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Summary
- Manage the COO's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Coordinate and prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Assist in organizing and maintaining office filing systems
- Coordinate office events, meetings, and other special projects as assigned
- Perform other administrative tasks as necessary to support the efficient operation of the office
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Assist in basic accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and expense tracking
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial records
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional Skills
- Assist in generating financial reports and reconciling accounts as needed
- Provide support during audits or financial reviews as required
- Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting software is a plus.
