Director Of Sales And Distribution

We are expanding using a regional model where this role will report to the Regional Director of Sales & Distribution. The Distributor Manager will oversee the distributors within the region, ensuring effective management and coordination. This position will collaborate with our sibling company to present a unified interface to many of our distributors, enhancing our collective strength as one cohesive company. Responsibilities include managing distributor programs, communicating customer plans, and overall distributor management. We seek an entrepreneurial-minded, self-starting individual who is excited about growth and willing to voice their opinions on how best to succeed with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) partners. This person will help develop and execute those plans. There is significant potential for career advancement within this role, offering great opportunities for growth. This region covers Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Illinois.

Responsibilities :

Serve as the key contact for all Direct Store Delivery (DSD) partners within the region.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with DSD partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes while meeting Gorilla's goals and KPIs.

Collaborate closely with our sibling company for joint communications with mutual DSD partners.

Develop and manage annual joint business plans with DSD partners, ensuring alignment on mutual goals and tracking progress throughout the year.

Manage the DSD distributor trade budget, including EDLPs, events, incentives, etc.

Handle DSD partner item setup and maintenance.

Communicate chain customer activation plans to DSD partners.

Ensure forecasting excellence for our sibling company and production team.

Analyze data and KPI reporting through VIP & Gorilla CRM tools to evaluate performance and develop strategies to achieve targets.

Support and manage ad hoc requests within the region.

Participate in team meetings, sharing ideas for continual improvement.

Requirements :

Minimum of 3 years of experience in DSD distributor management, preferably in the beverage industry.

Minimum of 2 years of experience focusing on Convenience & Grocery channel dominant companies.

Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive mindset.

Strong belief in fostering ideas and teamwork.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Position requires an average of 50% travel, primarily within the region.

Compensation and Benefits :

Salary range : $120,000 - $140,000

Annual bonus potential of 15% of salary.

Healthcare coverage through Aetna.

$400 / month vehicle allowance.

$75 / month cell phone and home office internet reimbursement.

401K

Unlimited Paid Time Off ("PTO") and Sick Time and eight holidays.
