Job Title : Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Associate

Location : Cranbury, NJ

Hours : M-F, 8am - 4pm (some flexibility start / end time); Onsite

Type : Contract, 1 year, potential for direct hire

Pay Rate : $36-$40 per hour

Role Overview

Seeking an Associate in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) to support manufacturing operations by implementing policies, conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures

Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations

Support training, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance

Track and analyze Health, Safety, and Environmental data for continuous improvement

Recommend program improvements

Requirements

Bachelor's in Health, Safety, and Environmental, Industrial / Environmental Engineering, Safety, or related field

0-5 years of Health, Safety, and Environmental experience; experience such as co-op, internship, or professional work experience; experience in manufacturing environment ideal.

Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental principles, risk assessment, GMP, OSHA or COMAH

Strong communication, training, and MS Office skills

Preferred Experience

Pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, food industry, flavor fragrance, oil / gas, specialty chemicals or similar fields

Experience with GMP and regulated Health, Safety and Environmental standards

Driving safety culture and sustainability initiatives
