Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced Title Insurance & Escrow Officer with a minimum of 5 years of direct industry experience . The ideal candidate will be confident managing the full life cycle of residential closings and will bring value through strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service. Familiarity with commercial title transactions is a significant plus. Proficiency with TitleExpress is required.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and oversee the complete escrow and closing process from file opening to disbursement and post-closing.
Examine and clear title issues in collaboration with underwriters, attorneys, and lenders.
Prepare and review HUD statements, ALTA settlement statements, and Closing Disclosures (CDs).
Conduct closings in person or virtually with accuracy and professionalism.
Communicate effectively with all parties involved, including clients, realtors, lenders, and internal staff.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as BreakWater Title Agency policies.
Utilize TitleExpress software efficiently for all transaction processes.
Assist on commercial transactions when needed.
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in title and escrow operations.
Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow procedures, and real estate closings.
Experience resolving complex title issues and clearing title.
Proficient in TitleExpress software .
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commercial title experience is a plus .
Title license (as required by the state).
