Job Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer payments. Your duties will include reviewing account information and correcting errors, creating invoices, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong mathematical skills and a commitment to accuracy.

Brooks Flooring Services, a veteran-owned business, was established in 1998 by owners Carol & Wayne Brooks, both former flooring installers. Thanks to our background, we've been able to continue to focus on extensive hands-on installation service as the business has grown and evolved over the years.

In 1984, Wayne had just finished serving in the Marine Corps and began a career in the flooring industry. After getting married in 1990, he and Carol started working side by side, making contacts and earning a reputation for their quality workmanship & reliability. By 1998, they had started a small retail business working out of a utility trailer and their home office. It wasn’t long before they’d accrued enough business to move from the trailer to a warehouse; from the warehouse, they acquired a strip mall storefront. Then, in 2004, the Brooks’ purchased the building that houses our pet-friendly showroom & warehouse today. Recently, Wayne & Carol’s daughter, Julia Brooks, has joined them as a second generation of their family business.
