Overview and Responsibilities:
The Sr. Director, Corporate Strategy leads high-impact strategic initiatives that drive Paramount’s growth, competitive positioning, and innovation. This role partners with senior executives and cross-functional teams to develop actionable strategies, oversee complex projects, and deliver insights that inform enterprise-wide decision-making. The Sr. Director operates with significant autonomy, reporting to the SVP, Corporate Strategy, and often serves as a key representative in external partnerships and M&A activities.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead strategic planning, market analysis, and competitive assessments for new business opportunities. • Develop and present data-driven recommendations using advanced quantitative modeling and scenario planning. • Oversee cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution. • Represent Paramount in external negotiations, due diligence, and partnership development. • Build and maintain strategic frameworks and analytical tools for consistent decision-making. • Prepare executive presentations and Board materials that synthesize complex issues into clear, actionable narratives. • Execute special projects and ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership.Basic Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or private equity, ideally in media, entertainment, or technology. • Advanced degree (MBA preferred) with well-developed quantitative and analytical skills. • Expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and visualization tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau/Power BI). • Proven ability to manage complex projects and influence senior stakeholders. • Exceptional communication skills, including experience presenting to C-level executives and Boards. • Willingness to travel as needed for business unit visits and industry events.Additional Qualifications:
