About the Role
The U.S. Freight Product Manager will lead the development, performance, and optimization of AGS’s U.S. freight forwarding product portfolio. This position plays a key role in shaping product strategy, ensuring service consistency across branches, and driving alignment between operations, commercial, and technology teams. Reports to Chief Product Officer with dotted line to SVP of Commercial Strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the U.S. freight forwarding portfolio across Domestic and International Air Export.
- Partner with the Chief Product Officer and SVP Commercial Strategy to define pricing, product standards, and growth strategy.
- Identify market trends and customer needs to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
- Collaborate with operations and procurement to drive efficiency and cost optimization.
- Oversee product implementation and performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Partner with Air Carriers to leverage volumes to procure most competitive rates, while supporting operational needs.
- Lead quarterly product reviews and communicate performance insights to leadership.
- Support internal clients (AGS branches and Sales teams) and communicate consistent product execution across regions.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (or equivalent experience).5+ years in freight forwarding or logistics product management.Deep understanding of U.S. import / export markets and carrier relationships.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Why AGS
