HVAC Mechanic - Building Engineer

Dae Sung, LLC is seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic-Building Engineer to support our contract at the Hastings Keith Federal Building in New Bedford, MA. The working schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 : 00am to 5 : 00pm.

This full-time union position offers vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, and a pension plan in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. HVAC Mechanics will receive an hourly pay increase based on job classification, qualifications, and duties.

HVAC Job Classifications and Qualifications :

• H.V.A.C Level I - $39.59

One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties : HVAC Responsibilities, Pursue / receive HVAC local / state journeyperson grade license.

HVAC local / state journeyperson grade license (excess of 10 tons), one of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties : HVAC Responsibilities.

HVAC Mechanic / Building Engineer must have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in building maintenance and operation, maintaining facilities and working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. The ideal candidate will be competent to perform operations, preventive, and corrective maintenance on BAS, boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems.
