Tax Director / People & Process Leader

Location : Houston, Tx (Hybrid / Remote — On-site 1 week / month preferred)

Compensation : $130K to 150K base + performance-based incentives

They don’t chase every client, they don’t live in tax return season hell, and they definitely don’t hire by checking a box.

They work exclusively with seven- and eight-figure business owners nationwide, delivering high-level tax strategy, outsourced CFO insight, and year-round advisory services.

Now, they’re looking for a Tax Manager - someone who can lead from the front, build structure into scale, and still roll up their sleeves when the job requires it.

What You’ll Do

This isn’t just a leadership title. It’s a strategic + tactical role designed for someone who bridges the gap between high-level vision and real-world execution.

Operational Leadership

• Serve as our client’s right hand implementing the “Get Scalable” framework, driving firmwide initiatives, and ensuring growth doesn’t outpace structure.
• Own internal accountability : keep deliverables moving, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure priorities stay aligned.
• Act as a coach, strategist, and operations driver for a fast-moving, visionary team.
