Admissions Representative

Managing insurance notification, verification, and authorization activities, the full-time remote Admissions Representative will interact with insurance companies, patients, and clinical staff to ensure accounts are financially secured prior to admission. Key responsibilities: Perform insurance notification, verification, and authorization for inpatient and outpatient admissions Coordinate with referring physician and insurance companies to secure scheduled accounts prior to admission Document account information thoroughly and explain financial requirements to patients, collecting deposits as necessary Required qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of education 1-3 years of experience in patient access, billing, cash collections, or health insurance Working knowledge of obtaining authorizations and reading EOBs
