Job Overview
This position is responsible for developing content/workflow expertise for assigned Epic application(s). Credentialed Trainers focus on the provision of end user training in the classroom, via live meetings and/or in 1:1 settings for end users from all levels of the organization. Additional focus areas include rounding, customer communication and optimization activities.
Education and Experience
Education and experience in a health related or adult education field are preferred. Associates or Bachelors Degree, Professional Licensure or Health Profession Certification Required. Previous experience documenting in Epic’s electronic medical records is preferred. Evidence of previous experience as a trainer and/or mentor preferred. Previous experience with document preparation such as writing user guides, grant applications, business plans is preferred. Epic Proficiency certification within 1 year.
