At Advanced Care Hospital of Southern New Mexico , we provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. At our 20-bed hospital, we provide specialized treatment in the Las Cruces and surrounding areas.
Our hospital is the first hospital in New Mexico to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Respiratory Failure and isa “Center of Excellence” for all respiratory failure patients, including those who require prolonged ventilator management and weaning.

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit. The role is also responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered lifestyle. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
