Job description
Focusing on advancing Windows support for Swift, the full-time Systems Engineer will lead technical projects for the Swift compiler and toolchain, port frameworks, and enhance build systems in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Spearhead technical projects for existing and new features across the Swift compiler, toolchain, SDK, and frameworks for Windows Port existing frameworks to Windows and address Windows-specific bugs and tests Monitor builds and investigate causes of failures in the Swift CI system Required qualifications 5+ years of experience in operating systems or low-level systems work, with familiarity in Windows, MacOS, Android, or iOS preferred Strong passion for build systems and tooling, with a focus on improving systems for ease of understanding and maintenance Experience working on large, complex codebases as a systems thinker Pragmatic problem-solver motivated by challenging technical issues in a startup environment Availability to overlap with North American time zones, particularly with Eastern Time Zone
