Azure Security Engineer

Seeking a full-time Azure Security Engineer to work remotely, who will act as a trusted consultant guiding clients through complex security and compliance challenges while developing security strategies aligned with frameworks like CMMC and NIST. Key responsibilities Serve as the go-to Cloud security expert, assisting in workshops and architecture sessions to translate client needs into actionable solutions Architect and implement Zero Trust strategies and threat modeling frameworks for mid-market and enterprise clients Develop standardized methodologies and security policies to ensure compliance and improve operational security Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 7+ years of consulting experience delivering tailored security solutions 3+ years of hands-on design and implementation of AWS and/or GCP security tools Deep understanding of core cybersecurity principles, including zero trust and credential theft At least one active security certification (CISSP, AWS SAA-C03, AWS SCS-C03, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification) required within 90 days of hire
