Software Development Manager

Providing technical leadership for a modernized financial and budget application, the full-time remote Software Development Manager will oversee software development activities, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with program priorities and delivery milestones. Key responsibilities Lead day-to-day software development across multiple Agile workstreams, maintaining focus on priorities and delivery milestones Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers, promoting best practices in code quality and automated testing Collaborate with program stakeholders to translate business operations and requirements into actionable technical solutions Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 10+ years of experience in software development or related technical disciplines 4+ years of experience leading software development teams or technical projects Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and enterprise integration methodologies Experience with APIs, system interfaces, data integration, or ETL processes
