Job description
Providing essential payroll-related activities, the full-time Payroll Specialist will manage payroll processing, ensure data accuracy, and respond to employee inquiries while working remotely from MST or PST time zones. Key Responsibilities Review and audit new hire and departure notifications to ensure accuracy in the payroll system Update employee payroll records and process involuntary deductions such as wage levies or garnishments Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and calculate pay for contract personnel Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience with payroll applications, preferably DayForce or other cloud-based systems Knowledge of federal and state wage and tax laws, with union payroll experience preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide high-level customer service Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
