Data Analyst

6–12 Month Contract | Must be able to support EST hours
Our Client, a leading SaaS company headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Product Analytics team by enhancing pipeline operations and maintaining critical Client models. The role focuses on ensuring timely, accurate, and reliable analytics through model optimization, troubleshooting, and strong data governance. You will collaborate with the Data Strategy team on quality assurance and process improvements, ensuring long-term stability and scalability across systems. This position requires maintaining high standards of data integrity and documentation while driving efficiency within a rapidly evolving architecture. Your work will strengthen data reliability, reduce disruptions, and enable the Product Analytics team to deliver proactive insights that drive product growth and adoption.
Key Responsibilities :
- Optimize the PA model for stability, efficiency, and performance to support global reporting.
- Broaden usage and adoption datasets while integrating new data sources to improve reporting coverage and stakeholder impact.
- Maintain and automate data integrations to keep the PA model current with new sources.
- Collaborate with the Data Strategy team to troubleshoot pipeline issues.
- Build and manage data quality dashboards to ensure data completeness and integrity.
- Maintain thorough documentation in Confluence and track progress and capacity in Jira.

Requirements
2–4 years of experience managing and optimizing Client models, performing data integrations, and automating processes.Proven ability to handle large-scale transactional data within Client efficiently.Knowledge of data quality monitoring, alerting workflows, and dashboarding tools.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to improving data pipelines and ensuring stable, consistent data flows.Detailed documentation skills; experience with Confluence and Jira preferred.Available for collaboration across global teams in U.S. and U.K. time zones.Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly.Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams, including Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product.
