Senior Java Engineer

Leading the design and development of scalable Java-based microservices and APIs, the full-time Senior Java Engineer will work remotely, contributing to code quality, integration, and performance optimization while providing technical leadership to a team of developers. Key Responsibilities Design and develop APIs, ensuring robust specifications and seamless integration with internal and external systems Contribute production-grade code and conduct code reviews to maintain quality and security standards Monitor API performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement enhancements based on stakeholder feedback Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in building scalable modern Java services Proven experience in breaking down legacy monoliths into independent services Deep knowledge of modern Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and secure development practices
