Responsible for underwriting and clearing conditions for Agency and Non-Agency loans, the full-time Senior Underwriter will manage a pipeline to ensure timely final underwriting and collaborate with internal teams while working remotely. Key responsibilities Maintain a pipeline with a 24-hour turn-around time for final underwriting and a 48-hour turn-around time for upfront reviews Analyze risk for initial credit decisions based on company and Agency guidelines Communicate errors and missing information to processors and issue final approvals with necessary documentation Required qualifications Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience SAR and/or DE certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of mortgage underwriting experience preferred Working knowledge of mortgage banking software and underwriting processes Experience underwriting USDA and Bond programs is a plus
