Job description
To support clients' Unanet accounting and project systems, the full-time remote Accounting Consultant will manage configuration, maintenance, and process optimization while preparing journal entries, maintaining general ledger integrity, and producing financial statements. Key responsibilities Manage and support clients' Unanet accounting systems, ensuring compliance with government contracting requirements Prepare and review journal entries, maintain general ledger integrity, and support month-end close processes Analyze financial data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements while training client staff on Unanet functionality Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-15 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP, DCAA, and month-end close processes Experience managing accounting for multiple entities or clients Proficiency with Unanet and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
