Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Manager, State & Local Tax to join their Boston, MA office.
Responsibilities
- Build client relationships and knowledge of their businesses
- Liaise with Tax Partners to satisfy the needs of planning compliance
- Assess and manage firm risk on tax services performed
- Research, write, and consult on various tax engagements
- Answer inquiries from state tax authorities
- Responsible for sales tax and other tax return preparation
- Supervise and mentor staff and review and evaluate their work
- Manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals
