SUMMARY

Coordinate building and equipment improvement projects set forth by the Facilities Department. Manage individual project assignments from start to finish including original project budgets and concept drawings as well as monitoring project cost, communication flow, scheduling, and coordinating all activities to achieve the desired quality and engineering standards. Works closely with the Oshkosh Vocational Tennessee Facilities Manager to accomplish the objectives of the department and to monitor all facility activities to ensure adherence to accepted engineering standards and regulations, which will be in the best interest of the company. Communicates directly with all areas of the company including : Production and Office Management, Maintenance, Safety and Environmental, and Manufacturing Engineering, providing the appropriate level and engineering support to assigned projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide CAD and manual drafting support for all maintenance, office and production projects,including long range planning

Assist and direct the activities of assigned construction related projects, departmental moves, and capital equipment reallocations / additions

Provide cost estimates and project coordination of assigned plantand maintenance improvements at all facilities

Work with outside contractors and suppliers, purchasing materials and services required for completion of assignedresponsibilities

Provide technical support for all plant operations, such as drawings and information for maintenance projects andassisting all departments in uniform and functional equipment and facilities selection

Assist in the preparation of capital budgets for all departments

Assist in the development of departmental policies and maintain all departmental drawing and resource files

Provide support and direction to the companies Safety / Environmental committee meetings

Develop maintenance programs for buildings and grounds such asevaluatingre-roofing alternatives, general building maintenance, and recommends corrective action

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Civil Engineering or Facilities / Operations Management

Internship Experience

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS ?

Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in facilities engineering.

Entry-level experience with SolidWorks / CAD software, DraftSight, and facility layout design.

Experience in project management, communication with vendors, and Gantt charts

Pay Range :

$63,500.00 - $101,700.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
