Lead Front End Software Engineer (JavaScript, TypeScript)

Your Responsibilities :

Collaborate with an experienced team focused on distributed microservices and comprehensive application development.

Develop and enhance Front End Applications using a test-driven development approach.

Take ownership of the technical design and creation of multifaceted cross-platform application systems.

Stay ahead of technology trends by experimenting, learning new technologies, and mentoring fellow engineers.

Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower customers on their financial journeys.

Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular and React), TypeScript, HTML / CSS, as well as Java, and engage with RESTful web services while ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (excluding internships).

Preferred Qualifications :

5+ years of experience with technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java.

1+ years of experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.

3+ years of experience with open source frameworks.

2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.

The salary for this role will vary based on location. The range for McLean, VA is $158,600 - $181,000. Other location pay ranges are reflected in individual offer letters.

Performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses or long-term incentives, may be available.
