About the Role :

The Melter / Ladleman plays a critical role in the metal production process by overseeing the melting and handling of molten metal to ensure quality and safety standards are met. This position requires precise control of furnace operations and the transfer of molten metal into ladles for further processing or casting. The role demands a strong focus on safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment. The Melter / Ladleman collaborates closely with other production team members to optimize metal composition and temperature for specific product requirements. Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a foundry or metal melting environment.
• Basic understanding of furnace operations and metal properties.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions including heat and heavy lifting.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
