Lead Fire Technician

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of security technicians installing, configuring, and testing security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarm systems) for new data center construction projects.
• Oversee the installation and integration of security infrastructure, ensuring systems are properly installed, configured, and tested per design specifications.
• Collaborate closely with construction, electrical, and network teams to coordinate timely installation of security systems.
• Maintain quality control by testing and validating systems before handover to operations.
• Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning, escalating issues as needed.
• Train junior technicians on system installation, best practices, and safety protocols.
• Document installations, configurations, and test results; generate progress reports for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, local and national codes, and company policies; meet required compliance standards for data centers.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors to schedule delivery and installation of security equipment.
• Oversee system testing and troubleshooting after installation; assist with ongoing maintenance and support during the warranty period.
