Scope of Position
The Market Attendant is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service. He / she must possess a limitless desire to attain the highest levels of quality and cleanliness in areas of the Food and Beverage Operations.
Position Requirements
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment.
- Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to implement standards / procedures and sequence of service consistently.
- A food handling certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment.
- TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
Prepare beverages to customer specifications.Make appropriate suggestions for food and beverages (employ suggestive selling and up-selling techniques).Offer customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment.Maintain a clean and organized workspace.Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.Follow store policy and procedures for operational flow at each station.Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products.Follow cash handling procedures and cash register policies.Contribute to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits.Any other reasonable duties as required by management.Education
High school diploma or GEDSkills and Abilities
Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques, and equipment and machinery use.Physical Requirements
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds.Requires standing / walking / reaching and bending throughout the shift.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
