Technical Sales Representative - Corrugate Industry

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative specializing in the corrugate industry. This role will be based out of one of our key locations in Aurora, IL, Elkhart, IN, Joliet, IL, or Kenosha, WI. The successful candidate will manage and expand customer accounts, strategically drive sales, and achieve significant sales targets. By joining our dynamic team, you will help us continue to deliver exceptional service solutions and drive game-changing strategies in the corrugate box market.

Salary : $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify leads on new opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle to achieve and exceed individual and corporate sales goals.
  • Utilize CRM systems like Salesforce.com to manage sales opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate and manage multi-year contractual relationships with a diverse clientele.
  • Regularly engage with multiple levels within the client's organization to foster strong, productive relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales strategy execution and to optimize profit margins.
  • Utilize internal resources to stay current with market trends and to leverage open machine capacity.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure the meeting of profitability targets and to conduct budget planning.
  • Drive commercial excellence by pinpointing growth opportunities in both new and existing accounts.
  • Deliver detailed presentations internally and externally to promote services and close sales.

Minimum Position Qualifications :

  • 2-5+ years of B2B Sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing or service industry.
  • Proven track record in sales execution, pipeline management, and market penetration.
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office - especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.com.
  • Proficient with data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI or QlikView.
  • Must reside within an hour of the specified locations and have corrugated box experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and influence others within different organizational functions.
  • Experience in developing and delivering compelling and persuasive presentations to varied audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and the ability to develop strategic plans aligned with company goals.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze complex financial information to make informed decisions.
  • Experience in managing large, complex contracts and negotiations.
