Overview
St. John's Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Neuro Interventional Rad Tech, you will provide advanced imaging support for neurointerventional procedures in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities
- Exercises quality control for imaging procedures and maintains the prescribed standards of quality.
- Ensures the proper transfer of images online including correctly labeled procedures.
- Assists as a preceptor for technologists, students and ancillary personnel on routine or specific procedures.
- Works as a member of the team, providing assistance such as transport and cleaning of exam rooms between procedures.
- Accurately documents procedures and charges for supplies.
- Accurately performs and documents hemodynamic monitoring.
- Performs interventional radiology procedures and neuro-interventional procedures in accordance with department standards and physician orders.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years experience as neuro-interventional radiologic technologist in an acute care hospital.Extensive knowledge of all department protocols and procedures.Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff, physicians and patients.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required.ARRT certification required.BLS certification required.ACLS certification required.Where You'll Work

$61.55 - $72.50 / hour
