What your day looks like

In our Alameda, CA facility, you’ll start your shift by reviewing the day’s prints for die‑cast aluminum parts. You’ll select tooling, stage fixtures, and bring CNC equipment online. Calling up programs, you’ll perform light edits in G‑code, verify offsets, and run a first‑article. Using your GD&T knowledge, you’ll measure, adjust feeds and speeds, and lock in a stable process. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot, document every setup, and keep safety front and center.

Your impact

• Configure and operate CNC machines to meet blueprint and specification requirements for die‑cast aluminum components.
• Edit and optimize existing CNC programs to improve machining performance and part quality.
• Perform in‑process and final inspections to uphold tight quality standards.
• Partner with operators and peers to diagnose and resolve machining challenges.
• Record setups, parameters, and results to maintain clear, accurate production documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and help reinforce a safe, orderly workspace.
