Managing escalated patient billing disputes, the full-time Senior Billing Coordinator will coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and payors while monitoring billing processes and facilitating knowledge sharing with staff in a telecommuting environment. Key responsibilities Investigate and resolve escalated billing issues by coordinating with various internal and external parties Monitor accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and integrity of the revenue cycle, providing education on billing options to responsible parties Collaborate with management to analyze processes and recommend improvements while training less experienced team members Required qualifications Experience in patient billing and collections within a healthcare setting Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and billing processes Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including patients and vendors Proficiency in financial assistance processing and payment plan agreements Experience in training and mentoring team members
