Editing submitted brand and nonprofit newsroom stories for syndication, the full-time Associate Editor will ensure adherence to editorial guidelines while working remotely and collaborating with clients to prepare content for distribution across a vast newswire network. Key responsibilities Review and edit stories for accuracy, style, and fit with Stacker's publisher network Collaborate with clients on revisions and clarifications to prepare stories for syndication Identify and suggest improvements for process inefficiencies in the editing pipeline Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in journalism or a related field with a strong grasp of journalistic standards Proven ability to communicate editorial standards clearly and professionally to clients Experience assessing and addressing data methodology issues in client-submitted stories Strong prioritization skills for editing multiple stories in a fast-paced environment
