Working remotely on a day shift basis, the Production Coding Specialist I will abstract data from anesthesia records into the MD Cloud Practice Solutions platform, ensuring accurate coding of surgical procedures and compliance with coding guidelines. Key responsibilities Review anesthesia documentation for required elements and ensure accurate coding of surgical procedures Abstract anesthesia times and events, identifying care team providers and reviewing for medical direction Meet team KPIs including daily production and quarterly coding audit score requirements Required qualifications Current CPC certification; CANPC is a plus Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical coding, with anesthesia coding preferred Proficient in ICD10 coding guidelines and experience with multiple EMRs High school graduate or equivalent Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF
