Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time remote CPC Certified Coding Specialist will ensure accurate medical coding in accordance with guidelines, payer requirements, and company standards while supporting the Revenue Cycle Management team. Key responsibilities Serve as a medical coding subject matter expert, collaborating with staff to impart best practices in a telehealth setting Review and abstract clinical documentation to assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes, ensuring coding accuracy for optimal reimbursement Perform regular audits of coded data to maintain quality and identify opportunities for education or process improvement Required qualifications CPC or CPC-A certification (AAPC) required; additional certifications (e.g., CRC, CPC-H) are a plus High school diploma or equivalent required 2-3+ years of professional coding experience, preferably in Revenue Cycle Management Proficient in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
