Financial Controller

Managing day-to-day accounting operations, the remote Financial Controller will oversee full-cycle accounts payable, payroll processing, and tax compliance while supporting month-end close activities. Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, bill runs, and invoice discrepancies Coordinate semi-monthly payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records Prepare and submit monthly multi-state sales tax filings and assist with month-end close schedules Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience Proactive mindset with a resourceful and self-motivated approach to problem-solving Good working knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting principles Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and strong Excel skills Familiarity with tools such as Avalara, PEO platforms, or subscription billing/CRM software
