To ensure coding accuracy and maximum reimbursement, the full-time Certified Coding Manager will oversee the hospital billing coding department, manage staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Manage the hospital billing coding department, including medical record documentation, coding audits, and reporting Oversee staff development, performance evaluations, and compliance with coding procedures and regulations Collaborate on system enhancements and maintain operational policies related to coding workflows and compliance standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, Health Information Management, or Health Information Technology Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician (CCS-P), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) preferred Three years of healthcare management experience with supervisory responsibilities Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical record technology Experience with Epic Physician Billing Coding functionality and related systems
