Prep / Server

SAGE Dining Services®is seeking an individual with front of the house experience to join our team at a private boarding school located near downtown Worcester. We are looking for a cheerful, positive individual who wants to join our team in beautiful central Massachusetts to help do small prep jobs, cleaning and serving tasks during meal service times. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Individuals who have knife skills and have worked in food service before will be given preference but we can train the right individual who has the attitude we are looking for. Those who pay attention to detail will do well as we are seeking proactive team members who will help the front of our operation shine at all times. Summers and holidays off with occasional catering through out the school year.

Typical Shift : This is an evening shift working Tuesday- Saturday.

Pay Type :

$18.00 - $20.00 Hourly

tuesday 11 : 30 AM - 7 : 45 PM

wednesday 11 : 30 AM - 7 : 45 PM

thursday 11 : 30 AM - 7 : 45 PM

friday 11 : 30 AM - 7 : 45 PM

saturday 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 15 PM

What you'll do :

• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
• Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
• Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
• Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.

What you'll need :

• Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
• Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
• Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
