To support patient care continuity, the full-time Texas Licensed Pharmacy Technician in a remote call center will manage outbound prescription refill requests, communicate with healthcare providers, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Key responsibilities Manage a designated outbound call queue focused on prescription refill renewal requests Contact physician offices and authorized medical staff to obtain verbal refill authorizations Accurately document call outcomes and ensure compliance with established workflows and guidelines Required qualifications Texas State Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB Certification High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service call center Previous experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, or medical office environment Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
