Position Overview :
As a Therapist at Wasatch Recovery Treatment Center you will play a vital role in the treatment
team, providing individual and group therapy sessions to clients dealing with substance abuse
and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful
difference in the lives of those seeking recovery and healing.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide evidence-based therapy, including individual and group counseling.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups as part of the treatment program.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Counseling or seeking a degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed or pursuing (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, SUDC, or equivalent).
- Experience in addiction and mental health treatment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to the recovery journey.
