Heavy Civil Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Civil Carpenter to join our team. The role requires expertise in constructing and aligning forms for duct banks and related concrete structures. The candidate must have minimum 2 years' experience in concrete forming and finishing in heavy civil or utility construction. The responsibilities include building, setting, and aligning forms for duct banks and related concrete structures, placing, consolidating, and finishing concrete to specified grades, textures, and tolerances, and installing conduit and embedded items according to plans. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications is essential. Experience in heavy civil construction and carpentry, along with proficiency in using carpentry and concrete tools is required.

Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors on a construction site with exposure to weather, noise, and heavy equipment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
