Trillium Drivers is now hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated food distribution account in Grand Prairie, TX.
Pay Structure: -$21.77 per hour -$17.57 per stop -$0.50 per mile
Estimated Weekly Pay: Low example: -40 hours + 14 stops + 1,500 miles = approximately $1,867 per week High example: -40 hours + 21 stops + 2,000 miles = approximately $2,219 per week *Actual earnings will vary based on hours worked, miles driven, and stops completed.
Schedule: -5 days on / 2 days off -Dispatch times available at 7:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 3:00 PM, or 5:00 PM -Weekend availability is required
Job Duties: -Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely -Deliver food and paper products to customer locations -Complete approximately 1421 stops per route -Unload product using a manual pallet jack -Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections -Maintain DOT compliance and required paperwork -Provide professional customer service
Equipment: -Sleeper tractors -40-foot or 48-foot trailers
Additional Information: Some West Texas routes require an overnight layover. Drivers assigned to these routes must be comfortable sleeping in the sleeper berth.
This is a 6-month assignment with four openings available.
Requirements: -Valid Class A CDL -Recent, verifiable Class A driving experience -Valid DOT Medical Card -Clean MVR -Ability to perform touch freight -Comfortable using a manual pallet jack -Dependable attendance and strong customer service skills -Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
