What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence throughout the location. Document incidents and observations according to established protocols, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal management and site leadership. Assist with access control, visitor management, and / or screening processes as required by the facility's policies. Support emergency response activities by coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities when necessary. Minimum Requirements : Vaccination is required for hospital assignments. Assignment to hospital morgue areas is required. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
