This unit is known for quickly and safely recovering primarily, well-patients with few chronic conditions. This exciting, fast-paced unit cares for a variety of post-surgical patients We proudly hold designations as Centers of Excellence for Total Knee Replacements, Total Hip Replacements, Spinal Surgeries and Bariatric Surgeries.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor serves as a front-line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the unit. Embraces, uses and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools. Supports unit based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes. Acts as a role model who leads by example in delivering "Service Always" and in making patient experience a priority on units of responsibility. Additional Requirements
Experience required : At least one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience; Prefer more than 2 years of Registered Nurse Clinical Experience specific to the focus of nursing unit
Education required : BSN or MSN preferred; open to Associate Degree RNs but must be within one year of completing their BSN
Completion of a revised Charge Nurse workshop within the first 90 days of employment.
Certification : BLS by American Heart Assoc. required. Specialty certification within one year of hire or obtain within one year of eligibility
