Deferred Annuity Product Specialist

These positions are open due to a projected influx of work in Q1 due to high forecasted new business and sales within the company. Will start as a contract role through March with the potential for contract to hire. Top performers will have the opportunity for contract to hire based on business need. This role will be responsible for reviewing and processing of financial and non-financial activities for our active Deferred Annuity products, including withdrawals, transfers, and setting up repetitive payments. Will also assist with return mail and other administrative duties.

Shift / Schedule : Remote position. Must be comfortable training for 3 weeks from 7am-3 : 30pm PST. Will move to a 6am, 7am, or 8am PST start time following training. Daily Duties : Core responsibilities are around relationship management and transaction processing. Responsible for reviewing and processing annuity applications - this role is repetitive but looking for a team player! A day in the life will consist of having a "TO DO" list in the morning - they will pull up cases in the system, review cases, process work, and perform follow ups where needed. This work will be repetitive and "heads down" processing work. This work is held to quality and production standards! After training, this position will be held to 90% quality and processing 26-32 cases / day. 75% of this position will be processing - very heads down position and will require strong attention to detail. Will be reviewing applications for accuracy and missing documentation. Will be reviewing retirement annuities paperwork. Will be using ADWD systems in que, MainFrame, and KB for knowledge based software. 25% of the role will be follow up and communicating with the sales team and agents through phone and email. Very minimal phone communication but must be open to it. Will contact external customers and agents to obtain the necessary information to process the requested transactions.

Qualifications : Strong Insurance / Financial processing background (1-3 years of experience) Quick learner - someone that can jump in and go! Strong attention to detail No time off scheduled from December to March Individual producer mentality Annuities experience is preferred not required.
