As a Porter for our Site Services set up team, you will play a vital part in setting up spaces for internal meetings and events by delivering and organizing necessary furniture and accessories as requested.

Assists in executing event setups, which includes arranging tables, chairs, and other furnishings in the event space.

Ensure proper cleanup after events, including dismantling setups, returning equipment, and ensuring the venue is restored to its original state.

Performs basic custodial tasks and maintenance within the event or facility space as needed.

Pick up and / or deliver furniture and accessories, boxes, and other miscellaneous items.

May cross cover for porters in other areas as necessary.

Requirements :

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

1+ years of experience in material handling, event set up, and / or portering.

Must hold a valid Class E (Chauffeur) license if residing in Missouri, or a Class C license if residing in Illinois, or be willing and able to obtain the appropriate license within 6 months of hire.

Must possess a valid driver license.

May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. Buddy lift techniques may be utilized.

1+ years of experience with Herman Miller Furniture is preferred.

Experience with SAP is preferred.

After the 31st day of employment, you must become and remain a member in good standing in the union.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $22.27. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
